We Need God 2

Matthew 5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.

Acts 15:8 And God, which knoweth the hearts, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Ghost, even as he did unto us; 9 And put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith.

As soon as we can acquire the Holy Ghost for ourselves and purify our own hearts we won’t need God.

John 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: 28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

As soon as we can give ourselves eternal life we won’t need Jesus.

1 Peter 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4 To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, 5 Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

As soon as we have the power to keep ourselves we won’t need God.

Revelation 1:5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,

As soon as we can wash ourselves from our sins in our own blood we won’t need Him. The list of things God can do that we cannot is endless. He is infinite we are finite. Our power is limited. His power is unlimited. We make mistakes. He has never made one.

To be continued.
